We’ve set up a page for you to share your own stories and photos of America’s lost places.
Chris runs a pretty tight ship: packing prints, improving the FN art festival booth design, and tweeting because Katie is scared of Twitter. What Katie isn’t scared of is the world of the web. By day she runs her own design shop, As The Crow Designs, creating brands, websites, and other designy things for various companies, agencies, and small businesses around the U.S.
By moonlight, both Chris and Katie take to the night landscape, with their flashlights in tow. No United States town is off limits. From the plains of the Dakotas, to Milky Way above Big Sur – from the ghost town of Glenrio, Texas to the abandoned Chippewa Amusement Park in Ohio – from a dredge sunk into a lake in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula to the dank, crumbling, dusty theaters of Gary, Indiana, and East St. Louis, Illinois.
In other words: the country is their headquarters. What a great place to work!
Explore the Lost.
Play in the Dark.
Katie & Chris are night photographers who paint with strobe and flashlights to put a little life back into the lost spaces of America. So grab a map and some Goldfish crackers, and let’s hit the road!
