AMC Pacer – Okaton, South Dakota

SKU: PACEN Category:

Long Exposure Photograph of an AMC Pacer abandoned in the most bizarre of places: the semi-ghost town of Okaton, South Dakota. We think it might’ve been purchased by a former resident at the Pioneer Auto Museum in nearby Murdo. We grabbed a shot of this underrated “gem” a couple years ago, when the sky was dismal and the full moon hidden by clouds. Two years later we returned on a clear (albeit freezing) winter night to create this epic shot. Worth the wait, worth the travel! Especially because we got to chat with a new resident about his time in Okaton. The stories always make for better adventures. This one all light up with purple from our Protomachines flashlight.
