Lee Plaza – Detroit, Michigan

$75 $425

SKU: LEEP Category:

Long Exposure Photograph of an abandoned ballroom inside Lee Plaza in Detroit, MI, vacated over 20 years ago. This piano is pretty famous for being so downtrodden. It’s been exploited in a variety of urban explorer portfolios across this fine nation. But the strobes and flashlights give this beautiful Grand a nostalgic flavor. It hearkens back to its yesteryear when the old beauty stood proud and upright, and played gorgeous melodies long into the midnight hour. Plans to renovate Lee Plaza have been rumored for years without progress. But with recent economic booms in Detroit, Lee could find a new life soon.
