Long Exposure Photograph of an old farmstead home nestled between the ghost town of Appam–originally settled largely by Scandinavian immigrants–and near-ghost town of Alamo, North Dakota, almost at the border of the United States and Canada. Oh yah, WAY up der, eh! This beautiful setting was the home to three generations by the name of Ramsfield, built and homesteaded by Lenard Ramsfield. So brilliantly bright late that evening due to the powerful October SuperMoon blazing in the eastern sky. We struck a little amber gold that night as we stumbled upon this gem on the search for a different home that we just couldn’t locate. Katie also struck a little gold not breaking her neck when she fell down the stairs after light-painting the second story with a swath of amber. Chris heard the ruckus from his station next to the camera out in the field, and his heart stopped when a cold silence followed. He breathed again when he saw Katie emerge, a little worse for wear, from the back door, flashlight in tow.
