Respect Your Elders – Milnor, North Dakota

Long Exposure Photograph of the inside of an abandoned homestead illuminated by our orange and blue Protomachines flash. Unlike most of our locations, we peeked into this old farmhouse in the daylight hours. Unbeknownst to us, the local box elders were celebrating a family reunion here, and this ornate stairwell was the life of the party. We let them whoop it up in peace and returned at dusk. The exhausted buggers were all tucked into their nests and nooks for the night. Little did they know, we were ready to fashion a luminescent soiree of our own. But we kept our color lights at a dull buzz. Hopefully they woke up the next morning refreshed and none the wiser.
