Scouting Okaton – South Dakota

SKU: SCOUT

Long Exposure Photograph of a ’60s International Scout, abandoned in the most bizarre of places: the semi-ghost town of Okaton, South Dakota. Unlike two years ago when clouds took over the town, this time we had a clear (albeit freezing) winter night to create this shot. Worth the wait, worth the travel! Especially because we got to chat with a new resident about his time in Okaton. The stories always make for better adventures. This gem is all lit up with red from our Protomachines flashlight, while the old shack behind it glows with gold.
